Originally due early this year, Tekken 7 now has the official release date of June 2nd – this means that the game has obviously been delayed.

The PS4, Xbox One and PC fighting game will go on sale with the standard Day 1 edition alongside a Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition. The Day 1 edition will include the game along with DLC for extra fighter, Eliza, who debuted in Tekken Revolution. The Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, will feature the game and the Season Pass. Said Deluxe Edition will be exclusive to GAME here in the UK. Finally, the Collector’s Edition of the game will feature everything found in the Deluxe Edition but will also include a Steel Book, a soundtrack CD, and a detailed statue of father and son favourites Kazuya and Heihachi duking it out. If you are wondering about the measurements, the statue will come in at 30cm tall and 45cm wide.

As for Season Pass details, this will give you access to three upcoming content packs. The packs will offer new playable characters, brand new stages, a new game mode, costume packs, and a bonus 35-piece Metallic Costume Pack.

Tekken 7 features new mechanics such as Rage Drives, Power Crushes, and Rage Arts, which are said to make gameplay more accessible. There’s 30 playable characters, including a guest appearance from Street Fighter’s Akuma. Tekken 7 is also the conclusion to the story of the Mishima Blood feud, which is something that fans have been waiting 20 years for.
