The PlayStation Move (Sony’s very precise Wii remote-like motion controller) is to be released in PAL territories on September 15th.  Move can be purchased standalone (£34.99), with the PlayStation Eye camera (£49.99), and the navigation controller will be sold separately for £24.99.

A few new Move games were shown off at Sony’s E3 Conference; including Sorcery and Heroes on the Move, and it was announced that Killzone 3 will support the motion controller when it’s released worldwide in February, as well. The likes of Heavy Rain will also receive Move support through a downloadable patch.

Sorcery looks interesting. In the game you take control of a young apprentice and you’ll use Move to chuck precise spells (including fire, ice, and whirlwind magic) at your enemies. It appears to be very precise.

Heroes on the Move is apparently just a working title at the moment. This is a game that combines six famous Sony heroes from three games (Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, and Sly Cooper) into one title. The characters will be controlled with the Move controller and you can apparently mix and match the heroes to create your own “super squad of PlayStation Heroes” (Sony’s words, not mine). The game will also have a coop mode, in which another player can help you out.

There will be 16 titles when Move is launched, and apparently an additional 40 to be released in time for the festive period.
