Ubisoft has announced Fighters Uncaged, a launch title for Kinect, so it’s out in November.

You’ve probably already guessed, but it’s a fighting game that uses Microsoft’s new device, asking you to use your actual body to perform a range of mixed martial arts manoeuvres and, according to the press release, the game will teach you how to do these techniques.

You can create up to 70 different martial arts inspired strikes and will get the chance to upgrade your fighter. All this fighting takes place in 21 different locations: there’s docks, a church and dark alleys amongst other most likely grimy environments.

Opponents apparently have diverse fighting styles and you’re able to perform super strikes on them with your voice. There’s no versus mode, though with a co-op mode on offer, multiplayer thankfully hasn’t been completely ignored.

Caroline Stevens, EMEA director of marketing at Ubisoft had this to say in regard to the game. “Fighters Uncaged is the first motion fighting game for Kinect, dedicated to a core audience, requiring players to get out of their seat to engage in a controller-free full-body combat game and experience the authentic fighting style of Thai boxing.”

Could be fun, though I predict plenty of broken TV’s and other objects, maybe even some bones that get in the way of your over enthusiastic feet or fists.
