Codemasters have announced F1 2013 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

Along with the latest drivers and rules, F1 2013 will also feature classic content introduced by Murrary Walker, ex F1 commentator. With this said, there will be 80s-era F1 cars from William’s, Lotus and Ferrari. Classics drivers will include Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell, Emerson Fittipaldi and Gerhard Berger, while the likes of Brands Hatch and Circuito De Jerez will feature as classic tracks.

The Young Driver Test has now been expanded, offering even more to help you become a pro, while there’s advanced score challenges for those who are good at the game, or think they are good.

The game also introduces mid-session saves for the very first time.

F1 2013 will have both a standard edition and a classic edition available upon release. The classic edition, available at around a tenner more than the standard edition, throws in content based on 90s F1 racing, with cars from Williams and Ferrari, and drivers David Coulthard, Jacques Villeneuve, Eddie Irvine and Alain Prost included. This content will also be released as DLC in the future.

F1 2013 will be released later this year.
