As previously rumored, the next Call of Duty game is set to take the series back to World War II. Those who thought that the previous game was too futuristic, will certainly be glad to hear this.

Call of Duty: WW2, as it’s called, is developed by Sledgehammer Games and played from the perspective of the 1st Infantry Division, and you’ll be doing things such as storming the beaches of Normandy, helping to liberate Paris, and also pushing ahead into Germany. If you feel like you’ve done this many times before, then you probably have.

Multiplayer introduces modes such as War, which sounds like it might have its own narrative. There’s also a Headquarters feature, which allows players to interact with one another. Nazi zombies are also returning in a co-op mode, with its own storyline. The game is also said to have a new approach to character and create-a-class.

Call of Duty: WW2 will be available in a standard Base Edition, as well as a Digital Deluxe Edition (featuring the Season Pass, and more) and a Pro Edition (which will feature the Season Pass, a collectible steelbook, and more).

If you pre-order the game at selected retailers, you’ll be given access to an upcoming private beta of the game.

Call of Duty: WW2 is due for release on November 3rd on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
