Online downloadable FPS, Blacklight: Tango Down, has had a patch released today to sort out a few of its issues. Players who have already downloaded the trial and depleted the time limit will be able to see the new stuff in action as the timer has been reset. This is an obvious strategic move to attempt to reel in players who may have avoided the game first time around because of some of its issues.

The patch has been released for both the Xbox 360 and PC version and stops spawn campers from killing you so easily, making you invincible for longer on each respawn. The matchmaking is now also speedier, making finding games a quicker process than it previously was. The patch has a host of other additions and bug fixes, including everything from decreasing the bounciness of the grenades by 10% to reducing the damage of the shotgun at longer ranges. It’s good to know that the developer is still balancing the game following its release.

“The entire team took fan feedback and critique to heart and constructed the update to specifically address their concerns,” said Jared Gerritzen, Lead Designer at Zombie Studios.  “As one of the summer’s top XBLA downloads, we’re really happy with the way fans have been enjoying the game, and we’ll continue to make sure players are having the best online experience possible.”

Blacklight: Tango Down is available now on Xbox 360 and PC. It’ll also be released on the PS3 soon.
