If you purchase the Season Pass for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Unity, you’ll gain access to a full standalone game.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China, as it’s called, is a 2.5D side scrolling platform game which stars a female assassin in the lead. The game takes place in China in the 16th century and Shao Jun, the lead character, was apparently trained by none other than Ezio Auditore, and she also appeared in the animated film Assassin’s Creed: Embers. Locations to be expected include the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China is set to be released early next year.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity’s Season Pass will also give you access to the Dead Kings DLC. Dead Kings is set following the events of Unity, and you’ll once again fill the shoes of Arno. There’s apparently lots of dangerous animals in the Saint Denis area that the game is set in, and you’ll be equipped with a Guillotine Gun as well as a lantern for lighting up the darker areas. Also included with this DLC is three additional co-op missions in the Paris environment of the main game. Ubisoft have also said that it’s the darkest tale that they have ever told in the long running series.

Those who opt to pre-order the Season Pass will be given a double-handed war axe, which you’ll be able to use in both the main game as well as in the Dead Kings DLC. Finally, the Season Pass will also apparently give you access to over 30 new items, including weapons, costumes and other equipment.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is set for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 13th.
