Unsurprisingly, Microsoft’s E3 conference introduced some previously unannounced games that are heading to the Xbox 360.

The headline for many will be Halo 4, of which arrives next year and once again sees the return of Master Chief in the start of a new trilogy, details currently go no further than that.

The long rumoured Halo: Combat Evolved remake was also announced. It’s called Halo Combat Evolved: Anniversary and will be released to mark the tenth anniversary of the series, so that means it’s out this year. It will also, unsurprisingly, feature superior visuals, will support Xbox Live play and will see the return of seven maps.

Another big Xbox 360 series is getting a new iteration, that being Fable. The fourth entry of the franchise doesn’t appear to be a part of the mainline series and will be titled Fable: The Journey, will feature Kinect support and appears to be on-rails. It’s set for release next year.

Speaking of Kinect, one of its best early games, Kinect Sports is getting a sequel this coming winter. Kinect Sports: Season 2 contains six brand new sports: there’s golf, skiing, darts, American football, baseball and tennis.

Dance Central was another well received Kinect game and its also getting a sequel. Dance Central 2 will allow for two player dancing and  you’re able to import all the songs from the original game, which in combination with the fresh ones, offers over 100 songs from launch, apparently the most of any music based game to date.

Some fresh IP were also revealed. One is Ryse, developed by Crytek and set in ancient Rome. It supports kinect and sees one of your hands acting as a sword, whilst the other acts as your shield. A release date was not mentioned.

Kinect Disneyland Adventures, allows you to explore an accurately mapped Disneyland and will feature Kinect compatible mini-games that sees you travelling through Disney themed areas such as Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. It’s coming around Christmas.
