KURSK is an upcoming documentary-style adventure game, which focuses on the tragedy of the Russian atomic submarine K-141 Kursk, which sank in the Barents Sea in August 2000.

The game’s plot will be largely based on facts, making the player a witness to events that lead to the submarines downfall. Players will be able to see the world of 2000’s Moscow, Vidyayevo and the Oscar II-class submarine.

A survival game, gameplay has you gathering secret information whilst getting to know important people, including getting to know the crew of the Kursk submarine, maintaining important relationships and making decisions that will impact the story.

Standard and Collector’s Editions of the game will also be available. The Standard version will include Premium KURSK Wallpapers, a Digital Artbook, and an Official Game Digital Soundtrack, priced at £19.99.

The Collector’s Edition will come with all of the above, along with Kengir DLC – inspired by the true story of the uprising in the Kengir labour camp and the escape of one of the prisoners; VR Support DLC; KURSK: The Board Game; and an “O.R.P.” e-book. The price for the Collector’s Edition will be £27.99.

KURSK is due to be launched for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in early 2019.
