The Sinking City is another game set in the roaring 1920’s, though this time it’s not so roaring and more about giving you that sinking feeling.

The Sinking City is an open-world, third person detective game in which your quests are defined by how observant you are when investigating clues and pieces of evidence.

Inspired by the works of horror writer H.P Lovecraft, the game is set in Oakmont, Massachusetts, in which the state has been hit by unrelenting flooding, as well as supernatural goings-on, and it is up to war veteran Charles W. Reed to find out what exactly is happening.

Players will need to control Charles Reeds health, as well as his sanity, with certain situations causing him to lose perception of his environment. As well as battling his own hallucinations, Reed will also battle against otherworldly beings.

The Sinking City is set to be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 27th June, with a release for Nintendo Switch coming soon.
