E3 2017: Spider-Man is looking like a dream

Sony finally had more to show off of Spider-Man at E3, and it’s shaping up to be an “amazing” Spider-Man game.

The footage has loads of fast moving action and has the famous superhero (now with the same animated eyes of the current cinematic version of the character) doing all the slick moves that you would expect him to do, and it’s looking as if the game allows you to make use of the environment to use against your enemies.

The likes of Wilson Fisk and Mister Negative are present in the footage. More surprising is a small cameo from Miles Morales, who has previously donned the Spider-Man suit in the comics. It’s uncertain what sort of role Morales will play in the game.

Until hands-on previews are available, a slight concern is how much of the game you do actually get to control, as I’m unsure how the animations work and things like that, and the game also makes use of QTE’s. Only time will tell but, whatever the case, the game is definitely one that can be called a real spectacle.

Spider-Man is a PS4 exclusive and is due for release in 2018. The game is developed by Insomniac Games.
