Assassins Creed III Remastered has been confirmed for PS4, Xbox One, and PC for sometime, although only today has Ubisoft revealed that the game is coming to Switch.

The game will be released as part of a collection which will be comprised of Assassin’s Creed III and all of its DLC, along with Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered.

Assassin’s Creed III takes place during the American Revolution, and was divisive in the way that the buildings weren’t as large as previous Assassin’s Creed games, making for smaller structures to scale, although it was also Ubisoft’s most ambitious game in the series at its time of release in 2012.

As for Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation was originally released on the PlayStation Vita, and was notable for being the first game in the series to feature a female lead, Aveline de Grandpre.

Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will be released on May 21st individually as well as part of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s Season Pass. It will include remastered 4K visuals and improved textures.
