2 New Silent Hill Games in the Works?

An article released today by RelyOnHorror indicates that there are likely to be two new Silent Hill games, with one game to be helmed by SIE Japan Studios, and that Sony is acting as mediator between Kojima Productions and Konami to resurrect Silent Hills, Kojima’s previously cancelled game.
The first Silent Hill game, by SIE Japan Studios, will be a “soft reboot” and writer, Keiichiro Toyama (director and writer of the original 1999 Silent Hill), and Akira Yamaoka (composer for the majority of the franchise), will be involved. Apparently this title has already been in the works for about a year.
The second game, Silent Hills, has been pitched by Sony to Kojima as being a more narrative-driven title, akin to TellTale/Supermassive games, and will make use of the next-gen VR headset on PS5. They are also aiming to give Kojima full creative control.
A skeptic from a second gaming website, JackofAllControllers, reached out to their own sources and can also confirm that both titles seem very likely to be happening, but that both are set to be PS5 exclusives.
I reached out to a few friends over in Japan close to Sony and yes, both verified this report as true. We really are getting a Silent Hill game by Japan Studio's Project Siren (Siren and Gravity Rush team) and Kojima Productions is making Silent Hills. https://t.co/ptkEQ24CgX
