Oasis Games has made a $3 million cash equity investment into Iron Mountain Interactive in exchange for a minority stake in the company.

Iron Mountain Interactive have worked on some of the largest gaming franchises in history, including Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, Manhunt and Dead Island.

Oasis Games’ stake in the company has also provided them with exclusive worldwide publishing rights to Iron Mountain Interactive’s unannounced next game – a competitive, online multiplayer “Hero Sport” game scheduled for release globally in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and other console platforms.

Oasis Games have launched a string of games across many platforms, for PC, consoles and mobiles, and we here at Console Obsession have also played many PSVR games launched by the company.

Mike Borras, Chief Executive Officer of Iron Mountain Interactive, has said, “Oasis Games shares our vision for bringing high-quality online multiplayer games to the world, and they have been doing so globally since 2011. I’m looking forward to working in partnership with Oasis Games to combine their Chinese and Global platforms and resources with our love for creating unique and ambitious multiplayer games that can be enjoyed on multiple platforms by millions of players around the world.”

Oasis Games’ CEO Yuhui Wang added that this partnership will allow the company to grow its business in the West together with Sony Interactive Entertainment Asia.
