The Wii U is coming to Europe on the 30th of November, Nintendo has announced. The date is earlier then many expected, so it should come as a pleasant surprise for those that are eagerly awaiting the new console.

There will be two different versions of the system, a white one with 8GB of Flash memory, a Gamepad, a HDMI cable, sensor bar and AC adapters. Meanwhile the more expensive premium black console will feature everything that the basic version has but will have 32GB of Flash memory and also comes with Nintendo Land, a console stand, a charging cradle for the Gamepad and the Nintendo Network Premium Subscription. There will also be a premium bundle that comes with one of the consoles most intriguing early prospects, ZombiU, alongside a console skin and pro controller themed around the Ubisoft zombie game.

As far as price is concerned, similarly to the 3DS, Nintendo  has left it up to the retailers to price the console, so it’s obviously best to shop around to find the best deal.

There will be ten games available at launch: New Super Mario Bros. U, Darksiders II, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, FIFA 13, Mass Effect 3, whilst downloadable offerings are an enhanced version of Trine 2, puzzle/platform sequel Toki Tori 2 and Twin-stick shooter Nano Assault Neo.

Nintendo also revealed that the excellent Bayonetta is getting a sequel that will be exclusive to the Wii U, which was a genuine surprise to say the very least. Also announced was the fact that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be available for both Wii U and 3DS March next year.
