News – Vita gets redesigned
Vita is getting a slimmer and lighter design, which also includes improved battery longevity, a new screen and 1GB of onboard memory means you won’t need a memory card for saving games and smaller downloads.
It will be 20% thinner and 15% lighter than the existing model. Battery life meanwhile has been increased by an hour, so will allow you to play for around six hours until you have to charge the system. The original, glorious OLED screen has been replaced by an LCD one that Sony has said offers the highest level of image quality.
There’s no word as yet on a European release date for the system.
