The Official Xbox Magazine has revealed some information on the multiplayer component of upcoming reboot, Tomb Raider.

The multiplayer will be developed by Eidos Montreal, the team behind the excellent Deus Ex: Human Revolution. In the usual fashion, you’ll amass XP in the multiplayer, allowing you to increase your stats and purchase new characters.

One of the modes on offer will be Team Deathmatch and here you’ll not only have to contend with the opposing team but also traps as well. Rescue on the other hand has one team attempting to deliver med packs, whilst the other team is tasked with killing them. Also available will be Cry for Help, which is said to have an emphasis on discovery and collection, though no word on how exactly it functions, as yet.

Tomb Raider is set for release on the 5th of March.
