Open-world FPS Far Cry 5, racing game The Crew 2, and one unannounced Ubisoft game have all been delayed.

Far Cry 5 (PS4, Xbox One, and PC) was due for release on February 27th but will now release a month later on March 27th, while The Crew 2 (PS4, Xbox One, and PC) will be released between April 2018 and September 2019 now as opposed to the originally planned date of March 16th. Finally, the unannounced game will be released between April 2019 and September 2020.

Ubisoft have said that the delay is due to giving more development time to each of the games, which hopefully means that they will all turn out well in the end. The French publisher also gave Assassins Creed Origins as an example of a game that was given additional development time in order to fully realise Ubisoft Montreal’s vision.
