News – The NES to return with the Nintendo Classic Mini

In what will be nostalgic for many, Nintendo is re-releasing the NES in time for Christmas.

The difference here is that it’s a mini palm-sized version of the NES, hence the title. Also, the console will come available with 30 pre-loaded games, although there won’t be any way to add further games to the library, which will surely prove to be disappointing for some.


The tiny console also comes with a NES style controller, and you’ll also be able to make use of this when playing Virtual Console games on the Wii U and Wii. You’ll also be able to buy another controller, but you can also use a Wii U Classic Controller or a Wii Classic Controller Pro with the system.

Finally, the console comes with a HDMI cable and a USB cable. The console can be powered by USB, although it doesn’t come with a power adaptor.

The Nintendo Classic Mini will be released on November 11th. For the full list of included games, see below:
