News – The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes announced, Hyrule Warriors also coming to 3DS
A new Zelda game has been announced for the 3DS.
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes is due for release in the autumn, and is a co-op multiplayer adventure for up to three players.
It sounds like the game has less competitive elements than previous multiplayer titles in the Zelda series have had, with players going through dungeons and solving puzzles together. In single player, you’ll be able to switch between the three Link’s.
There’s a rather amusing totem mechanic, in which players can stack themselves on one another to reach higher places, elevated switches, as well as to defeat specific enemies.
Finally, there’s also different outfits that link will be able able to don, which gives you different abilities, such as the spin attack as well as the capability of dropping big bombs.
In more Zelda news, Hyrule Warriors has been announced for 3DS. Title Hyrule Warriors Legends this time around, the game features all the DLC from the original Wii U release, and it will also include playable characters from The Wind Waker.
