Developer Naughty Dog have unveiled their plans for three upcoming downloadable content packs for The Last of Us.

First up is The Abandoned Territories Map Pack, which will feature four new multiplayer maps. The suburb map is said to have a dynamic dust storm, the Bus Depot map has wild giraffes in the background, the Hometown map seems to be focused on stealth, and finally the Bookstore map is said to offer a highly unique dose of vertical gameplay. The Abandoned Territories Map Pack is due to be released on October 16th.

Following the map pack will be the single player DLC, which is due for release between December and January, while the third DLC pack will be another multiplayer focused pack, which is set to be released in early 2014.

Season Pass owners will get all of these content packs for no extra cost, and Naughty Dog will also be adding in over 60 different head items for the multiplayer characters of Season Pass holders. The heads will also be available to buy individually for those without a pass.
