Sony has finally confirmed that they will be releasing a more powerful version of their PlayStation 4 console, with the new version being able to support 4K TV’s and will make games using their new PlayStation VR look much crisper, thanks to its improved processing speed and richer graphics. Speaking to Financial Times, Sony Interactive Entertainment president Andrew House said the new console is intended to be a companion to the PlayStation 4, with both versions being sold through the current cycle. However, you’ll have to pay a pretty penny for the newer version, with Andrew House confirming that the newer model will be more expensive. Unfortunately we’ll all have to wait a little longer for the unveiling of the new console, with House also confirming that it will not be debuting at E3.
