At Nintendo Direct, the company announced that a new Mario and Luigi RPG, taking place in Luigi’s Dreams and another iteration of Mario Golf are in development for 3DS, whilst Donkey Kong Country Returns is also heading to the format and has apparently been rebuilt from the ground up.

Also announced was an expansion for New Super Mario Bros. U, themed around Luigi the less famous of the Mario Bros. It’s called New Super Luigi U and is said to be an extensive expansion, transforming all of the 80 existing courses into new ones. In other Luigi related news, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has been given a release date of the 28th of March.

Fire Emblem: Awakening meanwhile will arrive on the 19th of April for 3DS and a demo will be available of the game in early April. There will also be a limited edition bundle on offer, consisting of a blue 3DS XL decorated with a Fire Emblem logo and with Fire Emblem: Awakening pre-installed on the console.

There will also be Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate bundles for both Wii U and 3DS XL. The Wii U bundle features a black 32GB Wii U console and Pro Controller alongside the game itself. The 3DS XL bundle meanwhile will feature a black 3DS XL, that comes with the game already installed. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will receive a demo on both formats on the 21st of February.
