News – Next Rainbow Six game to feature a morality system?

The next game in Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six series is still unannounced, although that hasn’t stopped more information leaking out on the game.

The untitled Rainbow Six game will include a new morality system, with your decisions altering the story.

Kotaku have seen this system working. The example saw a busy New York bridge become the target of terrorists, with icons indicating the blast radius of the bomb and the amount of people inside of vehicles. You can either attempt to save the innocent with the bomb strapped to him, or you can sacrifice him to save the hundreds on the bridge.

It’s a very interesting idea, although the feature is not set in concrete and Ubisoft could apparently remove it entirely. Perhaps we’ll know more when the game is made official.
