Currently going under the name of Project Scorpio, this is the successor to the Xbox One that is due to be released by the end of next year.

Microsoft have stated that Project Scorpio will be the most powerful console on the market, although perhaps Sony will eventually have something to say about this. Scorpio will apparently feature eight CPU cores, over 320GB/s of memory bandwidth, and 6 teraflops of GPU power. If that all makes sense to you, then you are officially a geek. Whatever the case, it all makes the console sound rather godly, doesn’t it?

Project Scorpio will also have backwards compatibility with all Xbox One games and peripherals. The console will also support 4k and virtual reality. How exactly it is going to support the latter is anyone’s guess right now.
