Capcom has revealed new details for the upcoming Resident Evil 6.

The game will feature a variety of zombies, with some being smarter than others. There’s even some sort of freaks, the J’avo, that can understand speech. The J’avo can also regenerate itself when it is injured, perhaps producing a superior body part than it previously had.

Chris Redfield’s location has now been revealed as Lanshiang, a fictional Chinese coastal town. Helen Harper, one of the new faces, is a government agent who regretfully claims that she is responsible for this big outbreak. The mystery mercenary, on the other hand, remains just that, a mystery. The US president is meanwhile turned into a zombie, and we already knew Leon S. Kennedy once again makes his return along with Ingrid Hunnigan, his mission support contact.

The game is set in 2013, 15 years after the original outbreak, with zombie outbreaks happening across the world.

You’ll be able to move and shoot, plus roll out of the way and take cover behind objects.

Resident Evil 6 is due for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 20th. Purchase Capcom’s upcoming Dragon’s Dogma, and you’ll earn yourself early access to the Resident Evil 6 demo.
