Open world Lord of the Rings adventure Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will now be released a bit sooner than what was expected, arriving on the 3rd of October rather than its original 7th of October release date.

The game, developed by Monolith Productions seemingly takes inspiration from the Batman Arkham titles for its combat system, whilst its parkour brings to mind Assassin’s Creed. It also has a unique feature of its own called the nemesis system, which means enemies are unique and, should they survive are able to remember your previous encounters with them and are also able to be promoted through their actions, furthermore enemies can be persuaded to join you and parts of their personality are shaped through your actions.
