Today marks 57 years since the Dyatlov Pass Incident, which resulted in the horrific deaths of nine hikers in the Nothern Ural Mountains on February 2nd, 1959. Even to this day, what happened in these mountains remains a mystery, leading to many theories as to what actually caused all those violent deaths. The events of that tragic day is also the main inspiration behind PS4 game Kholat.

Kholat is described as a first person exploration adventure game with horror elements, which takes place in the snowy Ural mountains, and it’s up to you to find out exactly what happened on this fateful day. Sean Bean lent his voice for narration for the game.

Kholat is set for release on PS4 on March 8th.
