JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure was first released in arcades in 1999, and was later ported to the PlayStation and Dreamcast in 2000. Capcom has now announced a HD version of the game for release on Xbox Live Arcade and PSN.

Along with the new HD visuals, you’ll also be able to play the game with the original look. The game will also include online play, of which you’ll be able to choose opponents based on location, skill and connection speed. The lobby system (for up to eight players) also allows the winner to stay on, while losers have to patiently wait for their turn to come around once again. Replays can also be saved and shared online.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure HD will be released on August 22nd, priced at 1600 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade and £15.99 on PSN.
