News – Gran Turismo Sport is now a 2017 release

Joining a number of games that were due for release this year but are now releasing next year is Gran Turismo Sport on the PS4.
On the PlayStation Blog, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi states that Polyphony Digital needed more time to make sure that the racing game was ready before release. Sadly, a new release date, or even a release window wasn’t given.
Gran Turismo Sport abandons dynamic weather, but introduces a sports mode and PlayStation VR support, while also being the first Gran Turismo game to be released on the PS4.
