Ghostlight has announced that it is bringing the Image Epoch developed Fate/EXTRA to Europe. It’s a PSP RPG and a spinoff of a successful Japanese visual novel. It  features characters and other elements from there, as well as having a story written by Kinoko Nasu, the man that dreamt up the series.

The fighting is apparently accessible, fast paced and strategic, whilst the story is said to have mature themes and will branch, offering the potential for replay value and multiple endings.

The premise may use the typical RPG plot device of memory loss. But its virtual world setting is a bit more unique and it’s here where the protagonist will attempt to find out just who the hell they are. To do so they’ll have to take part in a tournament and at the same time attempt to gain possession of the Holy Grail, an object that is said to grant the user any wish.
