EA has announced EA Access, an Xbox One subscription service that grants you full access to certain games at no additional cost, trials for EA titles and 10% discounts for games and DLC.

The service is £3.99 a month or £19.99 a year and is currently set to arrive later this Summer. The initial games on offer will be Battlefield 4, Peggle 2, Fifa 14 and Madden NFL 25, all of which in PlayStation Plus like fashion will always be available to you just as long as you remain a subscriber.

The service will also offer trials of certain games five days before their release. These will vary in their level of content, with some for instance allowing you to play the full game, while others will be much more limited. The first games set to receive trials are Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fifa 15, Madden NFL 15, NHL 15 and NBA Live 15 and if you opt to buy any of these any progress made in the trials will be carried over.
