It has been revealed that the excellent Deus Ex: Human Revolution is getting a director’s cut on the Wii U that brings some refinements, new additions and comes complete with all the DLC of the game, all of which is said to have resulted in the ultimate version of the game.

It is a co production between original developer Eidos Montreal and Straight Right, the Australian developer behind the Mass Effect 3 Wii U port.

The most welcome change to those that have already played the game will likely be the fact that the much maligned bosses can be killed by not having to fire a single bullet and instead, you’re able to take them down by making use of the tools around the environment.

There’s eight hours of developer commentary and the energy system has also had a seeing to, which gives you the chance to use Adam’s augmentations more often. AI and visuals meanwhile have been improved, whilst the capabilities of the Wii U Gamepad haven’t been ignored, allowing you to use the touchscreen to hack, check data on enemies, navigate menus and swiping the screen gives you the opportunity to toss grenades back.
