The first Call of Duty game on Sony’s handheld will be set between the events of Call of Duty: Black Ops and its upcoming sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The game, developed by Resistance: Burning Skies developer Nihilistic Software, will also make use of some of Vita’s unique features, and will also have four-vs-four multiplayer modes, with Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed announced as modes so far. Exclusive maps can also be expected.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified will also be offered as a part of a Vita bundle. Along with the game, the bundle will feature the wi-fi model of the handheld as well as a Call of Duty branded pouch and customised rear touch pad.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is due for release in November.
