News – Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel revealed
The Gearbox developed RPG and FPS hybrid series Borderlands is set to get a new entry, titled Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, it has been revealed.
The game is developed by 2K Australia in collaboration with Gearbox. It takes place between the first and second games in the series and is set on the moon and the Hyperion space station. There are four new playable characters (all of which work for primary Borderlands 2 antagonist, Handsome Jack) and will be familiar to those that have played the DLC of the two previous games.
A new gameplay mechanic is oxygen, which you must keep an eye on and you also have a jet pack, which is fueled by oxygen but will use it up quicker.
It’s set for release in the Autumn.
