From this upcoming Wednesday (October 14th), Battlefield Hardline will be added to EA Access, which means that you’ll be able to play the game at no extra cost if you are a subscriber to EA’s PlayStation Plus-like service on Xbox One.

Battlefield Hardline is an unusual take on the Battlefield series in the way that it switches focus to the police as opposed to the armed forces. It’s a nice twist on the franchise, with a likable campaign and a typically deep multiplayer mode. The game was released on Xbox One, PS4, PS3 Xbox 360 and PC back in March.

EA Access is of course only available on the Xbox One at this point in time, with subscription options that allow you to subscribe to the service for £3.99 a month or £19.99 a year. Battlefield Hardline will be joining the likes of Titanfall, Need for Speed: Rivals, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield 4 on EA’s service.
