It took them only 3 days out of a potential 30, but developer Bulkhead Interactive have now made enough funds from their Battalion 1944 Kickstarter campaign to make sure that their online World War 2 FPS will become a reality. To celebrate, the developer has released a new video, of which can be viewed at the bottom of the page.

As it stands right now, and with still 24 days left to go, Bulkhead have made £158,620 from their campaign, and their goal was to make £100,000. This means that the campaign has been a huge success, and the developer have mentioned posting stretch goals, although they are keeping them under wraps for now, and will be announcing them further into the Kickstarter campaign. Also, not forgetting to mention that Bulkhead have put £100,000 of their own cash into the development funds for the game.

It seems that the world is ready for the return of the realistic World War 2 FPS then, and the game is now officially and fully in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
