The upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is getting a season pass, Ubisoft have revealed.

Ubisoft have also announced some downloadable content for the game, in which you’ll play as Edward Kenway’s first mate Adewale, who has been shipwrecked and finds himself in Saint-Domingue. The Freedom Cry downloadable content is said to also feature three hours of gameplay and nine missions. There’s a trailer at the bottom of this page for you to take a look at.

Back to the season pass, Ubisoft haven’t announced an exact price as yet, although it will save you around 20% as to what it would cost you if you were to purchase each piece of individual content on its own. The season pass will grant you additional single-player missions, weapons, skins, and collectibles. There will also be more multiplayer characters and exclusive customisation options for your ship, the Jackdaw, in the Kraken Ship Pack. All of Black Flag’s season pass DLC is apparently set for release before March on PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. So what about similar plans for the Wii U version? Only Ubisoft know the answer to that question!

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is due for release on November 1st on PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PC. With next generation console releases happening later on in the very same month alongside the releases of the Xbox One and the PS4 consoles.
