News – Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel announced

EA have unveiled a third iteration of their co-op focused action series, Army of Two. It’s titled Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel and is set for release March of next year on Xbox 360 and PS3.

It will feature a grittier tone and two new characters Alpha and Bravo, who like their predecessors go into battle wearing masks. The action takes place in Mexico and sees the two protagonists attempting to stop a drug war.

This time around the game is developed by the Dead Space series and Dante’s Inferno developer Visceral Games. It use’s DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine and will feature destructible environments. There will also be online and split screen co-op play on offer and a deeper customization system for both your weapons and your masks.
