There were some new games announced at Sony’s E3 Press Conference, of which are detailed below.

God of War Origins Collection is comprised of PSP games God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War: Ghost of Sparta, but now bundled together for this HD PS3 collection. Both games in the package will have support for 3D and will likely have improved visuals.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is the fourth entry in the Sly Raccoon series. Sanzaru Games has replaced original developer Sucker Punch on development duties, and the game is set for release in 2012 on PS3

Medieval Moves: Deadmund’s Quest is a game that makes use of Sony’s motion controller, allowing you to switch between sword and crossbow with ease. The game, developed by Sport’s Champions developer Zindagi Games, seems to have a likeable cartoon visual style and promises realistically accurate and responsive controls.

Ruin, a new action RPG developed by Idle Minds and Sony San Diego, was also announced for PS3 and PlayStation Vita. It’s a hack and slash game very much in the Diablo style, with a social element in which you’ll be able to help, hinder or harm other players. Apparently you’ll even have your own dungeon which will be shaped by how well you do in the game. Finally, you can move your game from the Vita to the PS3 and vice versa, allowing you to pick up exactly where you left off before you made the switch.

ModNation Racers and Street Fighter X Tekken were also revealed for Vita. Modnation Racer’s touch screen controls look superb for putting together a track of your own creation. Street Fighter X Tekken on the hand features optional touch pad controls to open the game up to a potentially wider audience. It was also revealed that InFAMOUS’ Cole McGrath will be a playable character on Sony platforms.

Dust 514 has also been announced as a PS3 exclusive. Dust 514 is a MMOFPS set in the same universe as Eve Online, and a beta is due before the year is out. The finished game will be released in the Spring of next year on PlayStation Network.

Finally, it appears as if Irrational Games have work underway on a Vita version of BioShock, of which was hinted at by creator Ken Levine.
