Dragon Age II, the sequel to BioWare’s marvellous Dragon Age: Origins, has been unveiled by EA. The game has apparently got a new visual style, which hopefully will make for a more attractive and distinctive looking game. It takes place over a decade and stars a new hero: Hawke is a poor refugee and a survivor of the Blight, who obviously becomes so much more, with him holding the fate of the world in his hands and all.
As always there are choices to make along the way, many of which will have repercussions. The combat has been given some loving attention too, with new mechanics that results in more dynamic fighting, though it’s not clear of just what exactly these new features are yet.
The game is set for release March next year on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The first trailer of the game is arriving the 17th August, so hopefully we’ll know more about the game then.
