A trailer has been released revealing more of the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons, but fans eager to get their hands on the game will be disappointed. Originally slated for release this year, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been delayed until March 20th 2020.

However, the new trailer gives us some insights into what the game will offer, and it seems your character will have to start off life with even more of the bare minimum than last time.

Life now takes place on a desert island, and the usual Animal Crossing aspects we’ve come to know and love are still are present, such as fishing and bug catching.

However, the game certainly has a more of a survival feel to it, at least perhaps at the start until your character progresses; crafting, a prominent feature of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, has been included in New Horizons, allowing your character to create tools and other items.

Other notable moments include flower picking, path making, and pole vaulting over water.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be available for Nintendo Switch.
