With so many games focusing on the grandeur of multiplayer, both on and offline, comes this refreshing game that focuses solely on 2 player co-op, split-screen gameplay only. That being said, it can still be played online, though its intention is for offline play only. A Way Out sees one player take control of Vincent, the other Leo, two brothers who escape from prison, their story unfolding as you play. A quirk of the game is that, should one character be involved in a cutscene, the other character can still be controlled, making for a variety of different angles of one scene. A Way Out looks to combine both stealth and puzzle elements, making use of the two characters, with one causing distractions or giving cover while the other reaches the intended target. It’s certainly has a unique concept, and will be released in early 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
