The PS5 DualSense is pretty much everything that we loved about the PS4 DualShock controller, and more.

The already revealed haptic feedback will offer a more diverse range of vibrations. Then of course there’s the adaptive triggers, allowing you to feel the tension of your actions.

Sony have also stated that they have tried their best in regard to the battery life of the new white and black controller as well as the size and weight of it, being that new functionalities are being introduced.

The share button controller has been replaced with the create button, and Sony have said that more will be revealed about this at a later point. I assume it will be pretty much along the same lines as the share button, but there will be additions.

The new controller also has a built-in microphone array for chatting to others online, although a headset can be used as well.

The light bar still exists, although it has now been moved to each side of the touch pad as opposed to being on the topside of the controller in the way it was on the PS4 DualShock controller.

PS5 is still due for release by the end of this year.
