Taking place in 9th century England, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla stars a Viking raider named Eivor, whom is also a clan leader.

You’ll be able to play as a male or female version of Eivor, and you’ll be able to customise his or her hair, tattoos, clothing, warpaint, and gear.

Ubisoft have claimed that the game will feature a revamped fighting system, including dual wielding weapons, and there will also be a bigger variety of enemies for you to slaughter.

As the below trailer shows, you’ll come across real historical figures in the story, such as Alfred the Great.

You’ll be able to go on raids using a customisable Viking longship, and you’ll also have your own settlement which will grow over time.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is due for release at the end of the year on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS4, Stadia, and PC. The game has currently been in the making for two and a half years, with development led by Ubisoft Montreal.
